The Michigan Cannabis Golf Association is kicking of the 2024 summer season with a scramble June 3 at Orchard Hills Country Club in Buchanan.
Founder Rick Anstiss provides details in this video interview. This year marks the 5th season for the CGA, and Rick already has lined up three of other scrambles later in the year. Those include June 22 at the Coldwater Country Club in Coldwater. A third will be in September 28 at Indian Lake Hills in Eau Claire.
Rick said golf is a way for cannabis company owners, cannabis consumers and even the general public that may not consume cannabis to meet and network. He sees it as a way to break down the stigma non cannabis public may have with marijuana.
